Photography Sessions in the Park

The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks encourages the use of its parks for photography. To ensure everyone's visit is enjoyable, please follow the photography session procedures and policies.

Recreation & Parks - Weather Cancellations

WEDNESDAY, January 28

  • Child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, and the North County Recreation Center are CLOSED. 
  • All events, programs, reservations, and permits for child care facilities, athletic fields and sites, and the North County Recreation Center are CANCELLED.
  • North Arundel Aquatic Center, Arundel Olympic Swim Center, Deep Run Recreation Center, and South County Recreation Center will OPEN at 10:00 a.m.
  • Parks and park visitor centers will open at their normal times. [PARK VISITORS should take extreme caution when visiting the park due to adverse conditions from ice and snow.]
  • Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will OPEN at 12:00 p.m. / Glen Burnie Ice Rink will open at its normal time. 
  • All activities must be discussed and pre-approved by the Park Superintendent for each occurrence. 
  • Activity can not restrict any public access to any area in the park unless proper permits are secured. (example: pavilion, hall or garden rental). 
  • The Park Superintendent and/or ranking staff in his/her absence has authority to deny or halt any activity they deem inappropriate or a hinder to the general public at anytime with no explanation.
  • Both the photographer and clients have to purchase permits or entry fee to enter the park. 
  • Call the specific park office for additional information and to contact to the Park Superintendent.
