Change in Service

B&A Trail Repair

Starting on or about April 16th, 2024, the B&A Trail will be closed to all access just south of the Jones Station Rd intersection each weekday.

UPDATE: The trail will be closed until Sunset on Wednesday, April 17th and will remain closed until the end of the business day on Thursday, April 18th.

Emergency repairs are needed to a culvert underneath the trail. No detours. Trail users will not be able to get through the work zone and there is no work around. The repairs are expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete.

Basketball Courts at Lake Shore Athletic Complex

The basketball courts located at the Lake Shore Athletic Complex will be closed on or about March 15, 2024, for repairs. Please be advised that the basketball courts will be closed for 3-4 months.

Bell Branch Park - Playground Closure

The playground at Bell Branch  Park will be receiving a new rubber surface and will be closed for about 3 days starting on Monday, May 20, 2024.

Brooklyn Heights Park Temporary Closure

Starting March 11, 2024, Brooklyn Height Park will be closed to the public through the Spring of 2025 for park improvement projects. For more information on the park improvements, please visit Brooklyn Heights Park project updates.

Elvaton Park - Playground Closure

The playground at Elvaton Park will be receiving a new rubber surface and will be closed for about 3 days starting on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Fort Smallwood Park - Boat Ramp Closure

Please be advised that the boat ramp at Fort Smallwood Park is closed today, Friday, April 12, 2024 due to coastal flooding.

Fort Smallwood Park Construction

Starting September 5, 2023, the eastern half of Fort Smallwood Park will be closed to the public for park improvement projects. The swimming beaches and fishing platforms along the rock armament will be closed to the public through the Spring of 2024. The park's boat ramp area, fishing pier, playground, and pavilion will remain open. Parking will be limited and expect entrance delays into the park on weekends.  For more information on the park closure please call 410-222-0088.

The playground at Generals Highway will be receiving a new rubber surface and will be closed for about 3 days starting on Monday, May 28, 2024.

Change in Service

Mayo Beach Shoreline Restoration

Mayo Beach Park will be undergoing Shoreline Restoration on October 16, 2023 through April 2024. In addition to the Cartop Launch closure, the beach area will be closed to public access as well. The playground and picnic areas remain open.

The playground at Riva Park will be receiving a new rubber surface and will be closed for about 3 days starting on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Tennis Courts at Deale Library

The tennis courts located at the Deale Library will be closed on or about February 12, 2024 for renovations. Please be advised that the tennis courts will be closed for 3-4 months.
