Recreation Advisory Board# Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Requirements: Must reside in District 6 and be available bi-monthly on the third Wednesday of that month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. |
Commission for Women# Vacancies: 4 Vacancies Requirements:

Amusement License Commission# Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Requirements: Must be a County resident. The Commission shall issue findings and recommendations in the regulation of commercial bingo games under § 11-2-202 and § 11-2-205. |
Social Services Board of Directors# Vacancies: 2 Vacancies Requirements: County resident who is personally interested in the welfare of the County’s vulnerable populations. |
Londontown Foundation, Inc. Board of Trustees# Vacancies: 3 Vacancies Requirements: County resident and interest in furthering the purposes of Historic London Town and Gardens. |
Community Reinvestment and Repair Commission# Vacancies: 0 Vacancies Requirements: The voting membership shall include a diversity of experience and expertise, and at least one voting member from each of the following categories: workforce or economic development; reentry services; health, including public health; education; justice, equity, and diversity; community organization; and social work. |
Public Campaign Finance System Commission# Vacancies: 2 Vacancies Requirements: Must reside in the County and will need to disclose political affiliation. |
# Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Requirements: Voting members shall be subject to a criminal background investigation before beginning to serve. Restrictions: An active police officer may not be a voting member of the Police Accountability Board. A person may not be appointed as a voting member of the Board if the person has been convicted of, pled guilty to, or received probation before judgement for the following:1. a crime of violence, as defined in § 14-101 of the Criminal Law Article of the State Code; 2. domestic violence; 3. a felony in Maryland; 4. a crime that is a felony in another State or in a federal proceeding that would be a felony in Maryland; or 5. theft, dishonesty, fraud, or another crime of moral turpitude. Joint Commission on Opportunity Gap (JCOG)# Vacancies: 2 Vacancies Requirement: One representative of an education-focused non-profit organization in Anne Arundel County. Requirement: County resident between the ages of 18 and 24 who is either a graduate of Anne Arundel County Public Schools or is currently enrolled in a college-level teacher training or education program. |
Laurel Race Course Impact Fund Advisory Committee# Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Requirements: Reside in a community within a 3 mile radius of the Laurel Race Course |

Police Accountability Board - Trial Boards# Vacancies: Continuous Recruitment Requirements: Reside in Anne Arundel County; subject to a background check; NOT an active law enforcement officer; willing to sign a Financial Disclosure Form annually; and willing and able to commit a significant amount of time on an intermittent basis. The work of the Trial Board Will be dependent on the volume of complaints and cases received; as such, we are currently unable to determine the exact time commitment. |
Retiree Health Benefits Trust# Vacancies: 1 Vacancy Requirements: Must be a County resident with knowledge of finances and investing who is not an employee or retiree of the County. |
