About the Committee
The Committee consists of 15 voting members appointed by the County Executive. Members include elected officials representing the areas surrounding Laurel Race Course, a diverse group of residents who live in those communities, a representative of Laurel Race Course and several ex-officio representatives.

- 1 representative from the Laurel Race Course
- the County Councilmember that represents Councilmanic District 4
- the Senator that represents Maryland Legislative District 32
- the 3 Delegates that represent Maryland Legislative District 32

Applications for Laurel Race Course Impact Fund Grants opened December 5, 2022 at 4pm and are available through ACDS’ Neighborly Portal, HERE |
Applications are due to ACDS no later than Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:59pm. Please read the application instructions carefully, and note that all applications must be submitted through Neighborly, ACDS’ grant management portal. |
Nonprofit organizations that provide services and facilities benefitting communities within 3 miles of the Laurel Race Course are encouraged to apply. Full guidelines are available HERE, as well as within the application in Neighborly |
A virtual application training took place on December 14, 2022 from 10:00-11:30am. This training introduced ACDS and the Laurel Race Course Impact Fund Grant opportunity, as well as walked through the application process on Neighborly.
