2022-2023 Directory Information

Letter from County Executive

I welcome you to the 2022-2023 edition of The Directory for Older Adults, Individuals with Disabilities, and Caregivers.

As County Executive, I am honored to serve the citizens of Anne Arundel County and I am committed to building a transparent administration. I encourage your participation to create a government that supports every community and their citizens to build better opportunities for everyone who calls Anne Arundel County home.

Older adults represent a very important segment of our community, one that is rapidly growing and is predicted to increase by over 40% by 2030. For this reason, it is very important that older adults and those who serve them are aware of the many programs and services offered by the Department of Aging and Disabilities and other service organizations in the county as they navigate the future.

Whether you are an active older adult looking to expand your educational, mental, physical and social growth, a senior requiring special services, or a caregiver needing guidance and assistance, you will find something to help you in this Directory.

More important, as we create new programs designed to assist you in the future, we need to hear from you. Let us know what your needs are. Visit your local senior center and talk to the director and members. Engage with the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council, or call the Department of Aging and Disabilities at (410) 222-4257.

We hope you will find this Directory a valuable resource and we look forward to hearing from you.
