Available Programs
- Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) - Extensive training is provided to enable volunteers to counsel and assist older adults with Medicare and health insurance related questions.
- Senior Nutrition Program Volunteers
- Ombudsman Program Volunteers
- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance - Volunteers are trained by IRS to help older adults with simple income tax returns.
- Telephone Reassurance Volunteers - are trained to make or receive calls to and from older adults enrolled in the program who live alone. Volunteers make sure the older adult is safe.
- Home Delivered Meals: Call Meals on Wheels at (410) 431-5257.
- Senior Activity Center volunteers, 18 years of age and older are welcome.
