Anne Arundel County Code, Article 18-2-107 authorizes the Planning and Zoning Officer to approve administrative changes to the zoning district lines when it is determined that the change is a correction to the official data.

The Letter of Explanation must outline the specifics of the proposed Administrative Zoning District Line Correction request in accordance with Article 18-2-107 of the Anne Arundel County Code. This letter must justify that a mapping error has occurred and include any exhibits supporting the request.
Site plans must be drawn at an engineering scale no smaller than 1”=40’ showing the entire property in question with the location of the existing and proposed zoning district line(s).
