Kinder Farm Park in Millersville is a 288-acre park that offers a variety of natural and recreational activities including walking, biking, bird watching, fishing and picnicking.

Note: Starting January 1, 2026, annual park pass prices will increase to $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents, and the daily park entrance fee will increase to $8. The additional revenue will help our staff maintain exceptional service and ensure our growing park system remains beautiful, well-maintained, and safe for everyone to enjoy!

Before venturing into the park visit the Kinder Farm Park Visitor Center. View farming artifacts from the 1930s, including a tobacco press, tools used to harvest tobacco and more. Reserve Harvest Hall meeting room which holds 100 people for a seated event and 200 for a standing function. The restored Kinder family farmhouse has returned to a condition similar to when it was built in 1925.   
    
Kinder Farm Park offers picnic tables and grills located throughout the park, two large outdoor pavilions available for rental, and a large playground and tot-lot ideal for children of all ages. The park has a 2.4 mile paved perimeter trail and several miles of natural trails.

Kinder Farm Park developed an agricultural history program and working farm that shows past and present agricultural practices of Anne Arundel County. Farm animals at the park are owned and cared for by the Kinder Farm Park 4-H Livestock Club and The Friends Farm Park FLEP Program (Farm and Livestock Education Program). These include chickens, turkeys, geese, cows pigs, goats and sheep. We ask that you not pet or feed any of the animals.
  


  • Kinder Farm Park is open 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to dusk. 
  • The Park is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
  • Visitor Center Office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Visitor Center is closed on holidays.

All passes at our regional parks can be purchased here prior to arriving at the park. With an annual pass you may explore and enjoy the four regional parks as often as you'd like for a single annual fee. Passes for regional parks are also available for purchase from the park gatehouses.
 
Vehicles entering the park must either display a valid annual/senior pass or pay the daily pass fees. The annual permit is a small sticker which is permanently affixed to the driver's side front bumper of the vehicle, drivers side window or the inside frame of the driver's side door. Persons age 60 and over may obtain a senior pass which is a card that must be shown along with valid ID to gain vehicle entry. A pass is valid for one parking space at a regional park and are not transferable.
  
Replacement Permits: $3.00 per vehicle 
If your vehicle is sold or involved in an accident and the current year parking permit sticker needs to be replaced, remove the parking permit sticker from the vehicle and return it to the park office to receive a replacement. Replacement senior passes are also available in the event of loss or significant damage. Applications for replacement senior passes must be obtained and submitted to the park where the original pass was purchased.
