Project Description
In kind replacement of c.1939 building used for both day camp programs and Park maintenance and storage with a modern, more-efficient building.
Mayo Beach Park has historically been used as a camp for children with disabilities during the summer months. The new Camp/Maintenance Building consists of a large air-conditioned indoor activity room, interior and exterior restrooms, a nurses' station, and an outdoor covered patio on the Camp-side and several workrooms and a breakroom on the maintenance side. The new Camp/Maintenance Building was constructed within the footprint of the old structure after the old building was demolished. No new site disturbance resulted from the new building.
