Quiet Waters Park

600 Quiet Waters Park Rd, Annapolis, MD 21403

Quiet Waters Park is situated between the beautiful waters of the South River and Harness Creek. Visitors can enjoy miles of paved trails through the forest, burn some steam on any of the park's three playgrounds, or picnic among 340 acres of beautiful parkland.

The Quiet Waters Visitor Center is the place to begin your visit to the park. There, you'll find two art galleries displaying works from the best local and regional talents. The Visitor Center also serves as home to the park's outdoor ice rink, which operates during the winter months. From the Visitor Center, head out to explore the park's miles of paved trails. Along the trails, you can learn about the park's history and ecosystem at several wayside educational signs. You'll also see over a dozen sculptures, sprinkled throughout the park, courtesy of the park's non-profit support group, the Friends of Quiet Waters Park.

In addition to six outdoor pavilions that can be reserved for parties, Quiet Waters Park offers several unique venues that can be reserved for ceremonies. The South River Overlook, perched above the South River, offers stunning water views. The James Lighthizer Gazebo is located on the edge of a serene pond with a private bridge, perfect for photos, included with reservations. The Blue Heron Center is the perfect location to hold both a ceremony and reception, with a private garden terrace included with reservations.
