Overview
Adaptive programs offer youth of all abilities the opportunity to develop social skills and learn the rules of game play. Siblings and friends (ages 5-13) are welcome to register and participate. Non-competitive fun recreation programs are adapted to the ability of the player. Parents, older siblings, and volunteers are always welcome. No programs during inclement weather. Volunteers over the age of 18 must complete the county coaches’ background form. Programs run 10 weeks, weather permitting. For individual accommodation needs, if you are a new participant, or for additional program content information, please contact Ryan Stewart before registering.
Supervision: 1:3 ratio unless otherwise noted. Nurse is not available during the school year programs for medication administration or medical protocols.

Join the Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails for an enjoyable Sunday concert in the park along the B&A Trail at Hatton Regester Green (pg 33). Explore one of our Regional Parks (pg 29-30) to enjoy the vibrant fall colors and witness the seasonal transition. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for National Take a Hike Day on Monday, November 17 (pg 31), when we will host several guided hikes throughout the county.
