At Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie the B&A Trail ends and the BWI Trail begins. The BWI Trail circles BWI Airport for an additional 12 miles of paved trail. A parking lot and playground are located at theThomas A. Dixon, Jr.Aircraft Observation Area on 1911 Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie. Several scenic views of the BWI Airport are found along this loop trail. A spur trail from BWI Trail at Andover Road leads to the Linthicum Light Rail Station.

Applications must be received at least 60 days in advance of the requested date for an event to be held anywhere along the BWI Trail. Directions to the Thomas A. Dixon, Jr. Aircraft Observation Area. From Route 50 take exit 15, Rte 176 (Dorsey Rd) east towards the Airport. Continue on Rte 176 a short distance, the Observation Area is on the left just before WB&A Road. There are two parking lots on the BWI Trail. The first is the Thomas A. Dixon, Jr. Aircraft Observation Area and the second is at Saw Mill Creek Park.
