Reservations using the website YourPassNow will go live Monday, May 24th and each Monday at 9:00 AM prior to the upcoming weekend AND only the upcoming weekend will be available for a reservation.
For public open days starting Memorial Day weekend, May 29th, visitors to scenic Mayo Beach Park must now reserve park passes through Mayo Beach Park passes are available to the public at no cost. We have introduced this pilot system as a way to decrease traffic congestion on residential roads, better manage visitor expectations, and reduce the stress on staff from both workload and customer frustration. You may access from a browser on a computer or mobile device to reserve a pass through the YourPassNow reservation system, no app download required. Those without Internet access may call (410)222-7313 for assistance in making a reservation. Once reserved, the pass with QR code is emailed to the customer and can be printed or saved immediately. Mayo Beach Park rangers will scan the electronic or printed passes before visitors enter the park.

Mayo Beach Park open days, from Memorial Day until Labor Day, are free and open to the general public. Visitors on open days can pack a lunch, bring their canoe, kayak, windsurfer or paddle board and enjoy a beautiful afternoon. A shallow beach area is available for water play and wading. Lifeguards are not on site. 
Mayo Beach Park offers limited daily rental of the park for weddings, receptions and family and company picnics.


Open Days

  • Restrooms with running water and toilets are available. 
  • Potable drinking water is available but please bring your own bottle. 
  • Grills are not permitted on site and there are none available at the park.
  • Please pack food that is already prepared. 
  • Smoking, Alcohol, inflatable rafts, and glass bottles are not permitted on the beach.  
  • Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
  • Visitors are welcome to swim on public open swim days at their own risk. Lifeguards are not on site.

Summer Hours: May 29th through August 28th
Fridays 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Fall Hours: 
Labor Day Monday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sundays in September 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

We will not be open Friday (9/3) or Saturday (9/4) of Labor Day Weekend due to a private event.

En Espanol:

  • Baños con agua corriendo estan disponibles.
  • Hay agua potable disponible, pero traiga su propia botella.
  • No se permiten parrillas en el sitio y no hay ninguna disponible en el parquet
  • Empaque la comida que ya está preparada.
  • No se permite fumar, alcohol, balsas inflables ni botellas de vidrio en la playa.
  • No se permiten perros en la playa.
  • Los visitantes pueden nadar en los días de natación al aire libre bajo su propio riesgo. Los salvavidas no están en el sitio.

Domingos de Septiembre 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

No estaremos abiertos el viernes (9/3) o el sábado (9/4) del fin de semana del Día del Trabajo debido a un evento privado.
