Mother's Garden Rental

Downs Park has been the location for many wedding ceremonies over the years. Mother's Garden at Downs Park offers a beautiful and peaceful location for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

All wedding ceremonies held in the park require a permit. The fee includes use of the garden and entrance into the park for your wedding guests. Some restrictions apply. 
 
Please note that the Mother's Garden is the only area in Downs Park that a wedding ceremony may be held and receptions are not allowed.

  • Alcohol is not permitted
  • Amplified sound is not permitted

Weekend Rental + Non-Refundable Reservation Fee + Weekend Rental of Mother’s Garden
Group booking Mother’s Garden and the Chesapeake Room for wedding purposes on weekends only, will receive a discount of $110 off of the cost of the Mother’s Garden rental fee.
You will not be allowed to enter the Chesapeake Room early or exit later than the rental time for which you have paid. You will be required to set-up and breakdown within the rental time.
