The Bureau of Watershed Protection and Restoration is responsible for the environmental assessment, restoration implementation, and ecological evaluation work associated with the County's clean water obligations. Through projects that reduce pollution, restore streams, and prevent flooding, we work to protect our environment and support a safer, more sustainable community.

Countywide Biological Stream Survey

Biological monitoring strives to assess the status and health of biological stream resources of Anne Arundel County by establishing a baseline for comparing future assessments, tracking the status and trends of the biological stream resources, and relating them to specific programmatic activities.
