Transit Development Plan
In cooperation with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), the Anne Arundel County Office of Transportation presents the draft version of the Transit Development Plan (TDP) for Anne Arundel County, a comprehensive roadmap for the development and enhancement of transit services over the next five years.
Overview
The Transit Development Plan (TDP) is a crucial strategic document outlining the short-term goals and objectives for the transit system in Anne Arundel County. It is developed every five years to evaluate current transit services, identify unmet needs, and establish a course of action for improvement. This plan serves as a guide for implementing changes, improvements, and potential expansions to the county's transit services.

- Introduction - Purpose and Priorities of the Plan.
- Existing Conditions - Review of Available Transit Services in the County.
- Needs Assessment - Identified Community Transit Needs
- Demographics and Land Use - Analysis of People and Trip Generators
- Service Plan - Final Recommendations including Budget and Implementation

A public meeting meeting to present the draft plan and take public comment will be hosted at Discoveries: The Library at the Mall from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on FEBRUARY 27th, 2024. All members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate.
