- STORMS OF 0-6 INCHES:
Thru lanes should be plowed to bare pavement up to 24 hours after the end of the storm.

STORMS OF 6-14 INCHES:
Thru lanes should be plowed to bare pavement up to 24-36 hours after the end of the storm.

STORMS OF 14-22 INCHES:
Thru lanes should be plowed to bare pavement up to 24-48 hours after the end of the storm.

STORMS OF 22 INCHES AND ABOVE:
Thru lanes should be plowed to bare pavement up to 36-60 hours after the end of the storm.

FREEZING RAIN OR ICE
Your road will receive continued salting until the road conditions improve.
*Bare pavement means a roadway surface that is at least 80% free from ice and snow, and that can be traveled safely by a front wheel drive vehicle at a reasonable speed for the conditions.
Bare Pavement Main or Collector Roadway

STORMS OF 0-6 INCHES:
Your road should be made passable up to 36 hours after the end of the storm.

STORMS OF 6-14 INCHES:
Your road will be made passable 2-3 days after the end of the storm.

STORMS 14-22 INCHES:
Your road will be made passable 3-4 days after the end of the storm.

STORMS OF 22 INCHES AND ABOVE:
Your road will be made passable 4-6 days after the end of the storm.

FREEZING RAIN OR ICE
During severe ice storms, your road will receive salting after the storm subsides. This
will only be done where public safety is a concern.
*Passable means a roadway surface that may be snow packed with only one lane open, but is free from snow drifts, snow ridges, and as much ice and snow as is practical that can be traveled safely by a front wheel drive vehicle at a reasonable speed for the conditions.
**Requests for additional plowing create snow banks at driveway entrances which have previously been opened by residents.
***If our snowplow driver cannot safely access your street due to on-street parking, service will be delayed until adequate access is available or until smaller equipment becomes available.
