Deer Management Seasonal Closures - Magothy Greenway Natural Area and Loopers Field
Magothy Greenway Natural Area and Loopers Field will be closed until 1 p.m. on the following dates due to deer management: Friday, October 16, Wednesday, October 21, Wednesday, November 4, Friday, November 13, Monday, November 30, Wednesday, December 9, Tuesday, December 15 and Monday, December 21, 2026
Please Note: The bermuda fields are closed from July 1 to August 1 to allow the fields to rest and promote proper growth. All grass fields are closed from December 1 to February 28.

Equestrian TrailsDuring operating hours, the red and yellow trails are accessible via Looper’s Field's gated southern lot.

Park Rules
- The park is open sunrise to sunset
- Pets must be under the control of their owners, on a leash at all times, and their waste must be disposed of properly.
- Vehicles are allowed in designated parking areas only and may not park overnight.
The following are PROHIBITED at the park:
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Off-road vehicles, dirt bikes, and similar types of vehicles.
- Weapons, hunting, fireworks, metal detecting, and littering.
- Interfering with, removing, or disturbing wildlife and natural resources.
- Storage of commercial vehicles/equipment.
