Biography

Jessica Daigle is a Deputy State’s Attorney with the State’s Attorney’s Office for Anne Arundel County, where she has served in senior leadership and trial roles for more than two decades. In her current role, she oversees the Office’s $17 million budget; manages personnel operations and employee development; and provides strategic oversight of grant writing, applications, and funding distribution. She also manages the Body Worn Camera Unit, the District Court, Juvenile and Jury Trial Prayer divisions, and leads office-wide initiatives focused on operations, technology, and long-term planning. She is a member of the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Association’s Board, and also serves on the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and the Maryland Steering Committee on Behavioral Health and the Justice System.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Daigle has handled a broad range of criminal matters, including juvenile cases, child abuse and sexual offenses, white collar crimes, and serious felonies. She started as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Charles County in 1996 before joining the State’s Attorney’s Office for Anne Arundel County in 2000. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor with honors, and previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable James P. Salmon on the Appellate Court of Maryland. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Daigle has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to public service through leadership roles in bar associations, nonprofit boards, and civic organizations. She is a Past President of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, and a member of the Judicial Appointments Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association.
