Join us for a session on Wednesday, September 25, at 12:00 PM, hosted by ArundelStat and the Office of Equity and Human Rights (OEHR), as we introduce the Anne Arundel County Community Wellbeing Index (CW Index). This powerful new tool brings data to life at the neighborhood level.
The CW Index is an interactive mapping platform that provides census-tract-level data across four key dimensions: health, prosperity, security, and access. Designed to illuminate disparities across our county, the Index helps policymakers, departments, and community leaders make informed decisions that improve quality of life for all residents.
In this webinar, ArundelStat and OEHR will:
- Share the background and purpose of the CW Index
- Demonstrate how to explore and interpret the data
- Highlight real-world examples of how residents, organizations, and advocates can use the tool in everyday life
Whether you’re applying for a grant, advocating for a community resource, planning a youth project, or simply curious about your neighborhood, the CW Index offers valuable insight.
This tool can help you:
- Advocate for childcare, transportation, or health investments in your community
- Support nonprofit funding proposals with localized data
- Raise informed questions at town halls or candidate forums
- Collaborate with neighbors and groups facing similar challenges
- Engage youth in civic and data-driven projects
- Understand where and how to target programs or events
