Utility Contractor License

A Utility Contractors license is required to construct, alter, repair or modify a private water distribution system, private sewerage system, private storm drain system or any component of these systems that connects to a public system beginning at the boundary line of the property on which the work is performed to five feet from an exterior wall of any structure on the property, with the exception of a single-family dwelling.  This license requires an exam with a passing grade before a license can be issued.
