Overview
The Recreation Division provides many opportunities for the public to participate in diverse recreational programs designed to meet the needs of the community. These programs include preschool, youth, teen, and adult leisure programs; fitness and wellness programs; programs designed to provide social and recreational opportunities to senior citizens and those with special needs.

We understand mistakes happen during registration. Our registration department would be happy to assist with transfers at no admin fee contingent on program slot availability. Please email recregistration@aacounty.org with any transfer request prior-to-submitting a refund request or registering for the preferred program. All aquatics-related transfer requests will be forwarded to the center each registration is associated with.

We are offering a variety of programs to help you get active and stay healthy, or enjoy a new hobby. The Recreation Division invites you to see our year-round programs for all ages. From golf and aquatics to dance and arts, there is something for everyone!
Our winter guide is bursting with exciting opportunities!
Celebrate winter holidays around the world at Deep Run Rec Center (pg 17). Meet Santa and his helpers as they hand out candy canes and collect non-perishable items for the Food Bank (pg 32). Warm up with hot cocoa at the Glen Burnie Tree Lighting (pg 33). Kick off the new year by registering for a ranger-led First Day Hike! Don’t miss out, mark your calendars because registration opens this Thursday, November 6, at 11 AM!
