Delayed Opening
- All Child Care CEC/SACC sites will open at 8:30 a.m. and South County Recreation Pre-K will open at 11:30 a.m. These adjustments are in coordination with the two-hour delay implemented by Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
- Deep Run, North County, and South County Recreation Centers will open at 9:00 a.m.
Overview
The South County Recreation Center is located in Harwood and offers a wide variety of activities for citizens including fitness classes, open gym, gymnastics, karate, men’s basketball, ceramics, sewing and quilting classes, dance classes, preschool programs, summer camps and more.
Recreation Programs
We are offering a variety of programs to help you get active and stay healthy, or enjoy a new hobby. The Recreation Division invites you to see our year-round programs for all ages. From golf and aquatics to dance and arts, there is something for everyone!
