Lake Waterford Dredging
Beginning the week of September 22, construction will begin for the Lake Waterford Dredging and Shoreline Enhancement Project. During this period, fishing at Lake Waterford Park will be prohibited, and the small parking lot closest to the dam along Maryland Route 648 (Baltimore - Annapolis Blvd) will be closed. About the Park
Nestled within Lake Waterford Park lies a 12-acre lake, inviting visitors to indulge in shoreline fishing, experience the waterfowl, or embark on hiking adventures. The park features three pavilions, available for reservation to accommodate larger gatherings. Swing by the playground, perfectly situated amid the picnic area. Test your skills on the tennis or basketball courts, wander through the paved and natural trails, and have a meal at one of the many picnic spots. There is no entrance fee at Lake Waterford, welcoming all to experience the joy and beauty at the park.

General Park Rules
- All dogs must be on a leash at all times in the park.
- Alcohol, fires, grills, and balloons are not permitted anywhere in the park.
- All music must be kept to a minimum volume and amplified music is not permitted.
- Canopies/tents are not permitted on park property.
- Open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. until sunset
- Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
