About
Born and raised in District 5, Amanda resides just 10 minutes from her childhood home and is a graduate of Broadneck Senior High School.
Since earning her BA from Salisbury (State) University, Amanda has worked in political advertising and media. Her current position is Senior Media Buyer for a political strategy firm where she has worked since 2010.
Amanda has always had a deep compassion for people and making a difference in the community. In 2012 she founded a non-profit to support the Blood Donor Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center. In 2015 Amanda started an advocacy group for parents to support educators in Anne Arundel County. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Women’s and Children’s Patient Advisory Council and sits on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Quality Control Council at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Amanda also serves as PTO President for a local elementary school and is an active member of the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce. Amanda believes strongly in giving back to the community in which she lives.
Amanda is the mother to 3 sons and has been married to her husband for 11 years. They currently reside on the Broadneck peninsula and enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting local parks, attending sporting events and experiencing music and the arts.
