Anne Arundel County Paratransit Transportation Services

Anne Arundel County has a new process that will initiate changes to our Paratransit Transportation services.

Effective Immediately

Anne Arundel County Office of Transportation provides curb-to-curb paratransit service for seniors and persons with a disability.  Eligibility requirements are:

  • 18 and older with a disability; (Must provide current SSI award letter)
  • 62 if you are currently in the program;
  • 65 for all new clients; and
  • Resident of Anne Arundel County.

***All passengers using the Transportation services are required to have a current application on file with the Office of Transportation.

Paratransit Program

The Office of Transportation offers a para-transit service  throughout Anne Arundel County for residents 65 and older and individuals 18 and older with disabilities. All transportation is curb-to-curb, not door-to-door.

Transportation is provided Monday through Sunday, except holidays or Service Reduction Days to Senior Centers, medical facilities, employment sites, and other locations primarily in Anne Arundel County. See Paratransit Program brochure for scheduling information.
This Transportation Service provides curb to curb service:
  • Curb-to-Curb Service
  • Drivers DO NOT sign-out patients
  • Drivers DO NOT knock on the door
  • Appointments must be made 48 to 72 hours in advance
