- Spriggs Farm Park is located on the Magothy River.
- Care is needed carrying your canoe or kayak to the waters edge as the slope is quite steep.

Gate Access Request
Spriggs Farm Park is a gated park, open from sunrise to sunset.. Please park in the designated parking areas. Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks reserves the right to close the park or restrict access for operational, maintenance, or safety reasons.
All trash must be taken with you or placed in trash receptacles, if available. Insect repellant is highly recommended. There is a potential for poison ivy exposure.
Obtaining a Gate Access Code:
For first time users:
- Visit the Recs & Parks Portal and follow the instructions to create an account.
- Sign in to the application
- Click on the Park Gate Access tile.
- Complete the form and click submit.
- Once you complete the online form, a 5-digit code will be displayed on the screen that can be used at the gate. This 5 digit code and a QR Code will be sent via email to the inbox associated with the signed in account.
For returning users:
- Sign into the portal to obtain your code.
Using the Gate:
- Once you complete the online form, a 5-digit code and QR code will be sent via email to the inbox associated with the signed in account.
- Enter the 5-digit entry code into the keypad OR scan the provided QR code. Note: You may need to reposition your device if the QR code does not initially scan.
- The gate should open.
- If you are not able to access the park with your provided codes, press the call button for assistance.
- The gate will close automatically behind you.
- To exit, approach the gate slowly. The gate will open automatically.
