A follow-up to the public meeting held on May 22, 2023 has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 19,
2023 from 6:00-7:30 pm. The following items will be clarified in this meeting:
- Rationale for adding a new force main along Shoreham Beach Road;
- Alternatives that were explored in addition to a new force main;
- Current Point of Failure;
- Force main construction methodology (open cut versus directional drilling);
- Project funding;
- Sewer infrastructure upgrade in the Mayo Peninsula.
