Have you ever wondered what the difference between a turtle and a tortoise is? Why is the UMD mascot a terrapin and not a crab? What are box turtle surveys? If so, come out to Beverly Triton Nature Park to enjoy an evening of s'mores on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay while Ranger Victor illuminates the hidden worlds of our local carapace companions.
Bring a portable camp chair and share s’mores and stories by the fire, or sit back, relax and enjoy the evening. A $5.00 registration fee covers program costs. S’mores supplies will be provided.
