Robbery (Citizen) - Linthicum

On September 5, 2023, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery of a citizen that just occurred in the 1200 block of Winterson Road in Linthicum. Upon officers’ arrival, the victim advised he was having a conversation with a friend when the suspect approached them and joined the conversation. While they were speaking, the victim offered to sell a PlayStation to the suspect. The suspect became irate and accused the victim of scamming him for money. The suspect implied he had a firearm, threatened to shoot the victim, and demanded the victim’s backpack. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers' arrival. Western District
Carjacking- Laurel

On September 6, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers responded for a report of a carjacking that just occurred in the 3500 block of Laurel Ft Meade Road in Laurel. Upon officer's arrival, the victim advised when he exited his vehicle he was approached by two unknown suspects, one suspect placed a gun to the victim’s head and requested his phone and banking information. The victim was struck in the back of his head by one of the suspects and told to get on the ground. One of the suspects entered the victim's vehicle and fled the scene. The second suspect got into a separate vehicle and fled.
