Northern District

First-Degree Assault (Stabbing) - Glen Burnie

On September 27, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of an assault that occurred in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. The 37-year-old victim went to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of a laceration to his left arm. The victim told officers that he is familiar with the suspect but refused to provide any information to officers.  Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. Eastern District

Non-Contact Shooting (UPDATE)- Pasadena

On September 24, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded for a non-contact shooting in the area of Pendragon Way and Brickwall Lane in Pasadena. Responding officers learned that a 19-year-old male and an unidentified suspect were involved in a gun battle with another unknown suspect. Officers searched the area and only located the 19-year-old male suspect. The 19-year-old was taken into custody and charged accordingly. Christopher Lloyd Hayden, 19, of Pasadena, Maryland

Suspect:  
Black male, approximately in his 20’s, with dreadlocks.  

Update – September 28, 2023

Through investigative means, detectives identified the second suspect involved in this incident. On September 27, 2023, detectives located the suspect driving in the area of Creek View Court in Pasadena, accompanied by two other male subjects in the vehicle. Detectives detained and searched all occupants of the vehicle. The suspect of the shooting, Torbit, was found to possess a 9mm Glock 17 handgun, $2,111 in U.S. currency, approximately 18 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 26 suspected Oxycontin pills. The vehicle's front passenger had a 45-caliber Glock 30 handgun and approximately five grams of suspected powder cocaine. The rear passenger was found to be in possession of a 45-caliber Glock 30 handgun. All subjects were arrested and charged accordingly.
