Serious Crash - Severn

On September 16, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Western District officers responded to the area of Annapolis Road and Parkside Boulevard in Severn for a report of a vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle. Once on the scene, the Crash Reconstruction Team was requested.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a motorcycle traveling east on Annapolis Road at a high rate of speed struck a Ford Escape that was turning left into the Dunkin Donuts in the 2700 block of Annapolis Road. The motorcycle was traveling without lights, and the operator was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle operator was transported to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries.

The Crash Reconstruction Team processed the scene and will handle the investigation.
