On August 30, 2026, at approximately 1:35 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a white 2016 Acura on Pioneer Drive near Reece Road in Severn. As a result of the stop, the officer seized a loaded .38-caliber Ruger handgun, prescription medication (prescribed to multiple other individuals), and $2120.00 cash. The driver, who is prohibited from possessing firearms, was arrested and charged.

CDS Violation/Search Warrant/Arrest - Edgewater

On August 28, 2026, at approximately 1200 hours, detectives assigned to the Southern District executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Londontown Road in Edgewater. As a result of the search, detectives seized approximately 80 grams of suspected powder cocaine, approximately 1.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine, approximately 9.7 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl (18 capsules), four digital scales, four mobile phones, CDS packaging material, and $908.00 in cash. Two suspects were taken into custody and charged with crimes related to the sale and distribution of narcotics.
