Shooting (Non-Contact) - Laurel

On October 2, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded for a non-contact shooting in the 100 block of Easton South in Laurel. Witnesses reported hearing three to four gunshots in the area and advised that they observed a white male suspect wearing a tan shirt with camo pants carrying a rifle. The suspect left the area in a blue Toyota Corolla before officers arrived. Officers located three .223 caliber shell casings and discovered a shattered glass door to the apartment. Through investigation, officers identified the suspect in this incident. At approximately 11:45 p.m., the suspect returned to the shooting location and was taken into custody by officers and charged. Additionally, officers located a rifle and shotgun inside the suspect’s vehicle.

Weapons Offense - Glen Burnie

On October 2, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers observed a suspicious occupied vehicle in the unit block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie. Officers approached the vehicle and noticed an unconscious subject who appeared to be intoxicated in the driver’s seat. The officer observed suspected marijuana in the center console. The suspect was uncooperative and attempted to drive away from officers but was unsuccessful. Officers recovered approximately 21.68 ounces of suspected marijuana, $1,334.00 in U.S. currency and CDS paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and charged.
