Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Lothian

On October 27, 2026, at approximately 6:35 a.m., Southern District officers responded to a head-on vehicle collision at West Bay Front Road Ave near Fishers Station Road. Once on the scene, the Crash Reconstruction Team was requested.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound on West Bay Front Road when a westbound Ford F-150 crossed a double yellow line and struck the Hyundai head-on.
Fire Department Paramedics pronounced the operator of the Santa Fe deceased on scene. The operator of the Ford was transported by MSP helicopter to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
The Crash Reconstruction Team processed the scene and took responsibility for the ongoing investigation.
