On October 20, 2023, at approximately 12:05 a.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 500 Donaldson Avenue in Severn. A male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect jumped the counter, removed the cash drawer, and fled on foot. Responding officers located the suspect, who was arrested and charged. Officers searched the area and located a black replica BB gun believed to have been used during this robbery. The stolen currency was located in the 500 block of Donaldson Avenue.
