On October 9, 2026, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the Dash In located in the 3900 block of Mountain Road for a shooting. Officers located multiple witnesses and the victim's vehicle, which sustained multiple bullet holes. The victim was located a short time later suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was transported to an area trauma center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim had an argument with a suspect who then shot the victim and left the scene in a vehicle. Eastern District detectives assumed responsibility for the investigation and began conducting interviews. On October 10, 2026, the suspect responded to the Eastern District station and turned himself in. The handgun that was used in the incident was also recovered.

Armed Robbery (Citizen) - Arnold

On October 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 500 block of Ritchie Highway in Arnold for an armed robbery that just occurred in the 1400 block of Ritchie Highway. Officers spoke with the adult male victim, an employee of the Verizon store in the 1400 block of Ritchie Highway, who indicated he exited the store after closing, and was approached by a male suspect who brandished a firearm and stole the victim's wallet and phone. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. Eastern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information regarding this incident to contact 410-222-6145.
