Bank Robbery - Gambrills (Arrest Update)

On October 10, 2023, at approximately 9:50 a.m., officers responded to the M& T Bank located at 2637 Brandermill Boulevard in Gambrills for a report of a robbery. Officers learned the suspect entered the bank and gave the teller a note. The teller complied with the note and turned over money to the suspect who walked out of the bank. No weapon was observed during the incident. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect: Black male with a heavy build and a black and gray beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white facemask, a dark hat, sunglasses and gloves
Update (October 18, 2023)
Through investigative means, detectives identified a suspect in this incident, Brandon Corey Owens, 47, of Baltimore. Detectives received an arrest warrant charging Owens in connection with this incident. On October 16, 2023, detectives executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence in the 1900 block of Chelsea Road in Baltimore, where Owens was taken into custody.
