Assault/Firearm Offense - Glen Burnie

On November 13, 2025, at approximately 6:55 p.m., officers responded to an assault in the 7200 block of Furnace Branch Road East in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed the victim was driving near Furnace Branch Road and Route 10 when his vehicle was nearly struck by a black Toyota pickup truck. Both drivers pulled into a parking lot, and the victim confronted the other driver about the incident. The other driver withdrew a handgun and threatened the victim. The suspect then left the scene. Utilizing the Automated License Plate Reader program, the suspect vehicle was located in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway, where the driver was taken into custody and a 9mm Sig Sauer semi-automatic handgun was seized. The suspect was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms and had an open arrest warrant.

Search Warrant/CDS Violation - Glen Burnie

On November 13, 2025, Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team Detectives and members of the Quick Response Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie as part of an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the residence. The target of the investigation was taken into custody without incident.

The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of the following items:

  • approximately 7.73 grams of suspected cocaine
  • approximately 10.19 grams of suspected crack cocaine
  • Two digital scales
  • Two containers with a white powdery substance
  • $1,662 in U.S. currency

Western District

Search Warrant/CDS Violation - Laurel

After a months-long drug investigation, officers and members of the Western District Strategic Patrol Team executed a search and seizure warrant with the assistance of Western District Detectives and members of the Quick Response Team at a residence in the 3300 block of Old Line Avenue in Laurel. The suspect was present and taken into custody. During the search warrant, the following items were recovered from the residence:

  • .40 caliber Glock handgun with an automatic fire selector device converted to fully automatic
  • 21 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition and an extended magazine
  • approximately 2.64 grams of suspected heroin
  • approximately .91 grams of suspected cocaine
  • Drug paraphernalia

The investigation is ongoing.
