shooting (Contact) - Glen Burnie

On May 3, 2025, at 4:05 p.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of Americana Circle for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old female with a non-life-threatening graze wound to her upper body. The investigation revealed that the victim attempted to purchase cigarettes from the suspect but did not have enough money to complete the transaction. An argument ensued. The suspect retrieved a handgun from his apartment and fired multiple rounds toward the victim, striking the victim once. The suspect then fled. The victim declined medical aid at the scene. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Strong-Armed Robbery (Citizan) Glen Burnie

On May 4, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Gold Smoke store located at 7387 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. The suspect began behaving in a disorderly manner in the business, then charged at the store employee while wielding a knife.  The victim was able to avoid injury. The suspect grabbed several items of merchandise and fled out of the back door of the store. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Strong-Arm Robbery (Citizen) - Pasadena

On May 2, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of a citizen that occurred in the area of Chestnut Cove Drive and Springhouse Lane in Pasadena. The investigation revealed that two teenage male suspects, riding on an electric bike, dressed in all-black clothing with black ski masks, approached the 17-year-old male victim and attempted to tear his fanny pack from his body. When they were unsuccessful, one of the suspects grabbed the victim's wallet and other personal property from the open pouch of the fanny pack, and both suspects fled the area. Weapons Offense - Millersville

On May 5, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue Ford F-150 on Veterans Highway near Benfield Road in Millersville. During the stop, the officer located a .40 caliber Springfield handgun loaded with 15 rounds of ammunition, and a .22 caliber Carl Walther Uzi with drum magazine loaded with 11 rounds. The driver was arrested and charged, and the weapons were seized as evidence.
