Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie

On May 24, 2023, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of a juvenile that occurred earlier on the B&A Trail near Aquahart Road. The 12-year-old victim was riding his bicycle on the trail when he was approached by two juvenile suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim, and one of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife while demanding property from the victim. The victim complied, and the suspects fled. After confronting one of the suspects at the suspect’s residence with the assistance of an adult family member, the victim was able to recover his property. Both suspects were charged.

On May 25, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers patrolling the area of Meade Village heard several gunshots and observed a vehicle speeding away from the scene. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. No victims were located in the area where the gunshots were fired. Officers were later notified of a patient with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound receiving treatment at an area hospital. The patient, who is believed to be a victim of this shooting, will be interviewed when they are able. Several shell casings were located on the road on Meade Village Circle near Meade Village Road. Two residences in the 1600 block of Briarwood Court were struck by projectiles.
