Police Impersonation / DUI - Pasadena

On May 1, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded for a report of a person asking for illegal drugs from employees at the Shell station located at 103 Mountain Road. The responding officer located the individual seated in her vehicle, a gray Honda Civic, with the engine running in front of the store, and noticed a white powdery substance and a straw on the center console. While speaking with the vehicle occupant, the officer observed signs of impairment and asked her to get out of the vehicle to investigate further.  The occupant refused and claimed to be an “undercover detective.”  When the officer inquired further, the woman was unable to provide further information or any credentials. The occupant refused to obey any of the officer's commands and struggled as the officer attempted to arrest her. A small amount of suspected cocaine and paraphernalia was recovered from the vehicle. The suspect was charged with police impersonation and other applicable charges.

Robbery (Commercial) - Odenton

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers responded for a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 1101 Annapolis Road in Odenton. The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the employee. The suspect walked behind the counter and took cash and property, and then fled the store.  Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. Robbery (Commercial) - Hanover

On May 2, 2023, at approximately 5:05 a.m., officers responded to the Exxon located at 7898 Ridge Road in Hanover for a commercial robbery. The suspect entered the business, displayed a black handgun, and demanded money. The victim opened the register, and the suspect took US currency. The suspect then demanded that the victim empty his pockets, and the suspect took the victim’s car keys and fled the store in the victim’s gray 2020 Toyota RAV 4. Numerous officers canvassed the area, however, were unable to locate any suspects. Police Impersonation/Disorderly Conduct - Annapolis

On May 1, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers responded for an intoxicated male outside of the Anne Arundel Medical Center located at 2001 Medical Parkway in Annapolis. The male was wearing an FBI hat and had a gold-colored badge hanging from his neck and told officers he was an ATF agent. The male was unable to provide any further information regarding his employment with the ATF or show any law enforcement credentials. Witnesses reported that the male exposed his genitals while urinating near the roadway. The male was arrested and charged accordingly.

CDS Violation - Lothian

On May 1, 2023, at approximately 6:10 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Ford Escape in the 1300 block of Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian. A search of the vehicle based on probable cause resulted in the seizure of 73 suspected Suboxone strips and approximately .72g of suspected crack cocaine. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
