Western District

Sex Offense - Ft. Meade

On January 26, 2023, the Anne Arundel County Police Department became aware of an alleged sex offense that occurred between a female student at Meade High School and a male teacher. According to the victim, the suspect touched her "private and intimate areas" over and under her clothing while in the school building. The victim made a report, and an investigation was immediately launched.

Immediately upon being notified of the allegations, the school system removed the teacher from the school. On April 26, 2023, detectives applied for and received charges against the suspect. On May 1, 2023, the suspect was arrested on the open warrant.

Assault - Glen Burnie

On April 28, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to El Norteno Grill for a fight involving a gun. Officers located two suspects, one starter pistol and one 9mm handgun. Also located in the parking lot was a large machete. Investigation revealed that the suspects pointed the handguns at multiple people in the establishment. Both suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Assault - Arnold

On April 30, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Shore Acres Road in Arnold for an assault. The victim advised that his car alarm went off, and when he went outside, he saw a silver Jeep Cherokee speed away. He stated he got in his vehicle and caught up to the Jeep. At that time, the driver of the Jeep rolled down the window and pointed a handgun at him. The victim fled the area back to his house and called the police. Southern District

Indecent Exposure - Annapolis

On April 30, 3023, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the Target located in the Annapolis Town Center for an indecent exposure. The victim advised she was shopping when a man approached her, pulled down his pants, and showed her his genitals. A canvas for the suspect was unsuccessful. Eastern District

Distribution of CDS (School) - Pasadena

On April 28, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the School Resource Officer at Northeast Middle School was alerted of two students distributing cannabis gummies at the school. School administration conducted a search of the suspect's property, located 37 cannabis gummies, and notified the SRO. The administration became aware of the situation when a student came forward stating they felt ill after ingesting a cannabis gummy from the suspects. There were no other injuries reported.
