Commercial Armed Robbery - Annapolis
On March 7, 2019 at approximately 1:55 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at Franklin's Toys located at 2327 Forest Drive in Annapolis. An unknown male suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. The store was unoccupied at the time of the robbery with the exception of the store employees and the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspect: Black male, early 60’s, beard/unshaven, glasses, average height and weight wearing dark clothing
Eastern District
Commercial Burglary / ATM Theft - Glen Burnie
On March 8, 2019 at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers responded for a commercial burglary at the Walgreens located at 7953 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, officers noticed the glass front door broken out and an ATM located just outside the front door with the cash removed. Detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and possible video evidence. The store was closed at the time of the incident. There is no suspect description available at this time.
