First-Degree Assault - Linthicum

On March 18, 2024, at approximately 8:45 a.m., officers responded for an assault at Nursery Road near Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Linthicum. The adult male victim was driving on Nursery Road when he honked his horn at the suspect. The suspect approached the victim’s vehicle and lifted his shirt, revealing a handgun in his waistband. When the victim pulled over to call police, the suspect again approached the victim while pointing a handgun at him. Through investigation, the suspect was located at a residence in the 6800 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. He was taken into custody, and two handguns were recovered.

Shooting (Contact) - Severn

On March 18, 2024, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers were on patrol in the 1100 block of Reece Road in Severn when they were approached by a 31-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to his torso. The victim described the suspect as a male wearing dark clothing. Officers rendered medical aid until the victim was transported by Fire Department personnel for treatment of his life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in front of a residence in the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive. Western District

Robbery (Commercial) - Gambrills

On March 18, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to the AutoZone, located at 1080 Crain Highway South in Gambrills for a robbery. The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun with an extended magazine, and forced employees to open the safe. The suspect obtained cash from the safe and fled in a dark-colored SUV southbound on Route 3. CID Regional Crimes Unit detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-222-4731.
