On June 6, 2026, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 7800 block of Arbor Grove Drive, Hanover, for a report of damage caused by a fired projectile. Officers met with the victim, who stated they heard a gunshot and then noticed a hole in their ceiling and a projectile lodged in a book on a television stand. Officers canvassed the neighborhood; however, they did not locate any suspects or additional witnesses. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. On June 7, 2026, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Reese Road, Severn, for a report of a shooting. Witnesses reported an altercation occurred involving several individuals, which escalated when one subject fired a handgun. No injuries were reported; however, one vehicle was struck by the projectile.
