On June 20, 2026, at approximately 10:10 p.m., detectives from the Western District Strategic Patrol Team responded to Parham Court and Stillmeadows Drive for an assault in progress. Upon arrival, detectives located one involved party who fled on foot but was detained shortly after. During the foot pursuit, detectives observed the suspect discard a black backpack which was recovered by detectives. Detectives seized a loaded 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number and a second loaded 9mm handgun. One suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Handgun Violation - Pasadena

On June 18, 2026, at approximately 11:20 a.m., detectives from the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team conducted a traffic stop on a BMW sedan for a traffic violation in the area of Mountain Road and Jumpers Hole Road in Pasadena. During the stop, detectives obtained consent to search the vehicle and located a handgun with an obliterated serial number loaded with 11 rounds in a 30-round magazine. Two occupants were placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
