Bank Robbery/Arrest
On June 10, 2019 at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to the PNC Bank at 737 E College Parkway, Annapolis in reference to a robbery. A female subject entered the bank, implied a weapon, and passed a note demanding currency. The employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
The suspect, Rachel Stewart, was located at a residence nearby, in the 1600 block of Secretariat Dr., Annapolis, and placed under arrest for robbery and assault related charges. Another subject at that residence, Blake Nicholson, was also charged with robbery and obstructing / hindering.

Eastern District
Tactical Patrol Unit/CDS Arrest
On 06/10/19, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Eastern Tactical Patrol Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hidden Brook Drive and Secret Bend. During the stop it was discovered the driver was suspended and drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view. During a search of the vehicle the below listed items were recovered. The suspect was charged with traffic charges, possession of CDS, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
Seized items:
- 4.09 grams of powdered cocaine
- 1.28 grams of powdered cocaine
- .084 grams of powdered cocaine
- Digital scale with cocaine residue on it
- Silver spoon with cocaine residue on it.
- 64 unused zip-locked baggies
- $850.00 U.S. Currency (Seized)

Western District
Shots Fired/Crofton
On 6/10/19 at approximately 11:00 p.m. officers responded to the area of Lewistown Dr. and Cranston Ct. in reference to several reports of shots being fired. Officers located several shell casings on Lewistown Drive. Video surveillance was reviewed by Western District Detectives and at this time there were no injuries reported.
