Northern District
Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On May 31, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred in the 1200 block of Crain Highway North in Glen Burnie. The victim advised that as he was working outside of the building he he was approached from behind by two male suspects. The suspects pushed the victim against a wall, torqued his arm behind his back, and went through his pockets. The suspects removed the victim's wallet and fled on foot towards the Glen Ridge Apartments. Robbery (Commercial) - Annapolis

On May 31, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at the Kay Jewelers inside the Westfield Annapolis Mall, 2002 Annapolis Mall Road in Annapolis. The victims informed officers that the suspect, a white female, came into the store and addressed several employees about pieces of jewelry. At one point during their exchange, the suspect lifted the front of her shirt to reveal a handgun and demanded jewelry. The suspect fled the store on foot with jewelry toward the parking garage. Suspect: White female, approximately 25-30 years old, approximately 5’-00” and 100 lbs. with blonde hair

 

Western District
 
Theft from Auto Trend - Laurel / Hanover
 
 
In May, there have been several incidents in Laurel and Hanover where a suspect or suspects use the opportunity to steal items from vehicles while the driver is distracted while pumping gas. The suspect(s), operating either a gray Audi or white Honda Accord, pull up close to the victim's vehicle and remove items (purses and cellphones) while the operator is pumping gasoline.
 
Please be aware of your surroundings and consider locking your car doors and/or holding on to your valuables while pumping gas. Report suspicious activity immediately by calling 410-222-8610.
