Carjacking - Brooklyn

On July 4, 2025, at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers responded for a report of a carjacking at the Marathon Fuel, located at 5701 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. An unknown suspect approached a female who was preparing to pump gas, implied he had a weapon, and told her to step away from her vehicle. The suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle, a white 2019 Lexus, on Church Street toward Pennington Avenue. An officer spotted the vehicle near Pennington Avenue and attempted to stop it. The vehicle fled. Officers pursued the vehicle to Route 100 and Edwin Raynor Boulevard, where the suspect fled on foot after crashing the vehicle. Officers lost sight of the suspect and were unable to locate him after searching the area. Detectives assigned to the Regional Crimes Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-4731 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On July 7, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery of a citizen in the 900 block of Hopkins Corridor in Glen Burnie. The victim advised that on July 6, 2025, at 10:45 p.m., the 17-year-old victim was assaulted by an unknown group of male suspects who struck the victim in his head with a handgun and removed his personal property. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
